A Fine Frenzy

Alison Sudol
is a 22-year-old girl from Southern California, and she is female lead-singer behind A Fine Frenzy. Alison's got that soft, but rich, soulful voice that is near impossible to not like... and she plays the piano. She's soft on the eyes and ears. I think she is incredibly gorgeous with that bright red hair (even if it's not natural), that fits perfectly with her porcelain skin. And the deep dimples that form when she smiles are cute. :] A Fine Frenzy released the debut album, "One Cell In The Sea", and there are more than a handful of songs that I thoroughly enjoy. And after reading numerous interviews online and seeing videos of her on youtube... I see these adorable, wholesome qualities in her - she's so pure. I like that.

A Fine Frenzy is a blend of sounds and influences. Where there’s Ella, Aretha and Louis, there’s also Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Aqualung and KeaneHARP Magazine

I first heard "Almost Lover" on an episode of The Hills - season 3, I believe. And I'm glad I was watching that particular episode, or else I wouldn't have discovered AFF. :] "Almost Lover" is a bittersweet song about a romance that ended before it even formed. And although she still adores this individual in the song, she just wants to be left alone. "Did I make it that easy to walk right in and out of my life? // Goodbye, my almost lover // Goodbye, my hopeless dream // I'm trying not to think about you // Can't you just let me be?" The song made me think of certain like/love situation(s) I've been through, so I kind of have a deep understanding of this song. A lot of people can relate to her songs. I like when I get a feeling of connection with music, or any form of art (pictures, graphics, dance, etc), or people, or anything really. Anyway, on to the video...

You can hear the entire album, for free, on Last.FM. Click the link! :]

Anyway, she sounds like she's ready for VH1. Not my style of music tho...
